Seeking an Experienced Patient Access Coordinator
Alhambra Hospital is in search of a qualified candidate who fulfills the following criteria:
- High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare facility.
- Comprehensive understanding of capitation agreements, patient eligibility, and financial obligations.
- Expertise in Medicare, Medi-Cal, Managed Care, Workers' Compensation, and other relevant regulations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is essential.
- Proficient in various patient registration and accounting systems.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Typing speed of 40-50 words per minute.
- BCLS certification is mandatory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capacity to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
