Clinical Nurse III: Medical Cardiology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse III to join our Medical Cardiology team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments and procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Diagnostic Testing: Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
- Patient Education: Provide patients and their families with education and support to promote healthy behaviors and self-care.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting
- Licensure: Current RN licensure in the state of New York
- Competitive Salary: $36.73 - $60.93 per hour
