Clinical Nurse III: D4N: Medical Cardiology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse III to join our Medical Cardiology team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform treatments and procedures as required.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs, and develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel, and maintain standards of professional nursing.
- Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program in which a Diploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree is conferred.
- Must hold current NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Obtains and maintains certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Previous experience as a PCA or other nursing assistance preferred.
- Ability to improve job performance through continuing education.
