Position Overview

We are in search of a Lead Azure Solutions Architect to become a vital member of our Federal Cloud Operations team.

This role is essential in enhancing our CMMC compliant Azure environment through process automation, troubleshooting, and infrastructure development to support our expanding Federal operations.

Your Contributions

  • Implement and manage Azure Virtual Desktops.
  • Design secure and compliant workflows for onboarding new users, software updates, change requests, file transfers, and other operational requirements.
  • Automate repetitive tasks wherever feasible.
  • Diagnose and refine existing PowerShell scripts.
  • Modify Azure settings to fulfill operational and compliance standards.
  • Oversee ManageEngine ticketing and endpoint management systems.
  • Monitor cloud spending and initiate cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Provide mentorship and training to fellow engineers and operational support staff.
  • Establish and uphold compliant procedures.
  • Ensure the security of the environment while adhering to CMMC compliance.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.
Who You Are

Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or a minimum of 3 years of relevant production and project experience.
  • 7-10 years of experience in application engineering.
  • Proficient in managing Azure environments.
  • Skilled in scripting and automation using PowerShell.
  • Experience in administering and configuring Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with the NIST security framework or similar standards.
  • Adept at learning and adapting in a dynamic environment.
  • Capable of contributing to and executing a strategic solution roadmap.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Azure US Government tenant and GCC High environments, including SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of Information Security principles.
  • Familiarity with CMMC standards.
  • Experience with ManageEngine Administration.
  • Background in federal defense contracts.
  • Understanding of application management and deployment.
  • Familiarity with Bentley and AutoCAD software.
  • Leadership experience.

Compensation

Expected Salary (all locations): $80,000 - $150,000


WSP is providing this compensation range in good faith based on the successful applicant's qualifications and internal equity considerations.
