Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Geodatabase Engineer to join our team at Geospatial Consulting Group International LLC. As an Enterprise Geodatabase Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and administering Esri enterprise GIS solutions/systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop requirements for geodatabase solutions.
  • Capacity Planning: Analyze current and future capacity needs for geodatabase systems and develop strategies for scalability and performance.
  • Database Design: Design and implement geodatabase systems using Esri's ArcGIS Enterprise platform.
  • Implementation and Compliance: Implement geodatabase solutions and ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in geography, computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and/or administering Esri enterprise GIS solutions/systems.
  • Certifications: DoD Secret Clearance and CompTIA Security + Certification.
  • Skills: Demonstrated proficiency creating configurable apps with ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal for ArcGIS/ArcGIS Online, experience with Virtual Machine infrastructure and management, and experience with enterprise geodatabase management.
Desired Capabilities
  • Certifications: Certifications in GIS, Esri Enterprise, Microsoft, and PMP.
  • Cloud Services: Knowledge of cloud services and concepts.
  • Programming Skills: Experience developing applications using ArcPy, ArcGIS API in Python, C# or JavaScript.
  • Database Management: Experience with T-SQL, SQL, PL/SQL, or other RDBMS tools.
