Job Description

At Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Starved Rock Area, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our dynamic team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Lead and manage a team of department heads to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest service.
  • Monitor and control expenses to achieve budget targets and optimize profitability.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety in all aspects of hotel operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests, employees, and stakeholders to ensure a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve hotel operations and guest experiences.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel management, preferably in a similar size and type of hotel.
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth, improving profitability, and enhancing guest satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests, employees, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
