Job Title: Flight Test Service Engineer

Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled professionals to provide critical support in aircraft engine testing and maintenance. These roles are pivotal in maintaining quality and safety standards during the production and testing phases. Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification is required.

Responsibilities:
  1. Represent our company in all aspects of engine testing, including participation in flight test-related meetings and maintenance oversight.
  2. Disassemble, inspect, evaluate, and perform necessary engine repairs as directed, ensuring compliance with engineering instructions, technical manuals, and directives.
  3. Provide configuration oversight and specialist information regarding test engine configurations.
  4. Maintain and ensure the airworthiness of the engines throughout the flight test program.
  5. Supervise, inspect, and approve all work performed on flight test propulsion systems, coordinating with teams to ensure quality and adherence to protocols.
  6. Assist with logistics for parts ordering, configuration, scrapping, and repair, ensuring that all parts and equipment requirements are clearly communicated and managed.
  7. Develop, review, and approve operational procedures and documentation, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with maintenance standards.
  8. Troubleshoot issues, including fault messages and pilot squawks, and assist with creating and maintaining Issue Finding documentation.
  9. Support the installation and maintenance of flight test propulsion systems and participate in actual flight tests as required.

Qualifications:
  1. Minimum five years' experience with gas turbine and aircraft maintenance procedures.
  2. Extensive knowledge of FAR 25 certification requirements, engine performance, and operability.
  3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat or similar.
  4. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  5. U.S. citizenship or green card holder.

Additional Requirements:
  • Airframe & Powerplant certification required.
  • Desired: Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
