Job Overview:

As a Treasury Coordinator at FirstService Residential, you will play a vital role in supporting the company's financial operations. You will be responsible for assisting the Treasury Manager in various tasks, ensuring the smooth functioning of the Treasury function.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Bank Account Management: Open and close operating bank accounts and excess operating accounts, ensuring timely and accurate completion of banking analysis.
  • Financial Record Keeping: Record monthly bank statements and track CD expirations, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Check Distribution: Distribute in-house Avid Check Runs and in-house rush Checks, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Tax Compliance: Process Cook County Property Taxes for all associations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Purchase Card Program Management: Maintain the Purchase Card (P-Card) Program for FirstService Illinois associates, opening and closing P-Card accounts as required, and distributing monthly statements to cardholders.
  • Customer Support: Respond to all questions or concerns regarding the Purchase Card Program, providing excellent customer service.
  • Year-End Accounting: Assist in compiling year-end accounting records to be submitted to audit firms, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist and guide Community Association Managers by answering questions regarding banking processes and other related matters, promoting a collaborative team environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (open to all majors) or equivalent experience.
  • Communication Skills: Works effectively with coworkers, clients, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner, addressing problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions.
  • Technical Skills: Experience working with MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Adaptability: Must possess a growth mindset and an ability to multi-task/prioritize different projects at any given time.
  • Communication: Superior oral and written communication skills.
