Job Overview:
As a Treasury Coordinator at FirstService Residential, you'll be responsible for supporting the Treasury function as directed by the Treasury Manager. This role is an on-site opportunity based out of our corporate office.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate records of banking transactions, including opening and closing operating bank accounts and excess operating accounts.
- Monitor and analyze banking data to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks, including recording monthly bank statements and tracking CD expirations.
- Distribute and process financial documents, including in-house Avid Check Runs and in-house rush Checks.
- Process and manage Cook County Property Taxes for all associations.
- Maintain and administer the Purchase Card (P-Card) Program for FirstService Residential associates, including opening and closing P-Card accounts as required and distributing monthly statements to cardholders.
- Respond to questions and concerns regarding the Purchase Card Program.
- Assist in compiling year-end accounting records to be submitted to audit firms.
- Provide guidance and support to Community Association Managers on banking processes and related matters.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (open to all majors) or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with coworkers, clients, and customers.
- Experience working with MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize different projects.
- Superior oral and written communication skills.
