About the Role:

This position performs support and guidance functions to support customers and outside sales personnel with a focus on delivering an excellent customer experience.

We have 2 positions, one for 8-5 and one for 9-6 to cover the west coast.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customer needs and be able to provide solutions to meet those needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing as the primary interface of WEG and guiding customers and outside teams through the inner workings of WEG to ensure a positive and complete customer experience.
  • Receiving and processing customer requests and proactively involving all company resources to answer questions to customer satisfaction.
  • Continuing to grow in their knowledge of all WEG catalog products to quickly and confidently support requests for customer applications.
  • Evaluating and processing inquiries to provide pricing, stock availability, necessary modification and/or engineering requirements to ensure the proper product options are presented.
  • Receiving and processing orders, verifying all information to support order accuracy, on time delivery, and the customer experience.
  • Proactively following up on opportunities to ensure all customer expectations have been met.
  • Overseeing all company identified accounts to ensure the customer base continues to support company goals.
  • Coordinating with and providing support to an assigned list of outside sales team members, with a focus on removing obstacles to enhance their ability to focus on the growth of new business.
  • Leading the on-boarding process for new customers and developing those accounts until they can transition to a team account.

Requirements include:

  • High School diploma and/or 1+ years of experience supporting customers or outside sales personnel.
  • Functional Microsoft Office skills.
  • Moderate understanding of industry trends, market forces, and customer expectations.
  • Basic product knowledge and applications.
  • Proficiency with the product catalog.
  • Phone etiquette for customer interaction.
