Job Summary

Nichiha USA, Inc is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for implementing sales strategies and driving specification position for Nichiha products with the Architect, Specifier, General Contractor, and Installer community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement agreed upon sales strategies (i.e. sales programs) to increase sales output and drive business growth.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current sales strategies and programs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Architects, General Contractors, Installers, and other key stakeholders in the construction community.
  • Influence the specification process with Specification Writers/Creators to position Nichiha products as a preferred choice.
  • Develop partnerships with General Contractors and Installers to increase awareness of Nichiha's products and drive revenue growth.
  • Identify top General Contractors that can influence material changes and position Nichiha as a cladding of choice.
  • Liaise with specialty and commodity Installers to position Nichiha as a revenue-generating cladding for their business.
  • Track and maintain a project pipeline from specification to order received stage.
  • Document all activities and provide regular updates to management.
  • Present AIA/CES courses to Architects to educate them on Nichiha's products and services.
  • Assist in the development of new AIA CES offerings to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Present Product Knowledge Trainings to General Contractors and Installers to enhance their understanding of Nichiha's products.
  • Coordinate market intelligence on product, program, shipping, and market segments to stay informed and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with other Nichiha personnel to provide technical assistance, training, project-start-up, dealer assistance, contractor assistance, problem resolution, etc.
  • Manage the sales process through dealer or distribution channels as required.
  • Collaborate with Field Technical personnel to develop a trained and consistent installer base.
  • Participate in regional design organizations and promotional/trade show activities to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Participate in national promotional/trade show activities as required.
  • Assist in product development to stay ahead of the competition and meet customer needs.
  • Gather information on competitive activity and prospective strategic directives to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline (strongly desired).
  • 2+ years of sales experience in a B2B environment (building materials sales preferred).
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with clients and maintain a robust client database.
  • Proficient in face-to-face sales and able to create product and technical presentations.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to read and interpret construction blueprints.
  • Experience using Dodge Data and a CRM tool (preferred).
  • Understanding of social media trends and knowledge of Microsoft Office products (specifically MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel).
