Position Overview:
As a Quality Assurance Intern for Suppliers at Moxion, you will play a vital role in supporting our supplier quality department. Your primary responsibility will be to manage databases that drive supplier quality management initiatives. You will spearhead new projects aimed at enhancing team efficiency and providing leadership with a comprehensive overview of supplier quality performance. This internship will equip you with foundational skills in quality tools, measurement equipment, and problem-solving techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update existing databases and dashboards for supplier quality operations.
  • Lead data analytics projects focused on supplier performance metrics.
  • Implement process improvements, including system integration, to optimize team efficiency.
  • Assist team members with various tasks, including inspections, supplier development, root cause analysis, and material disposition.
  • Conduct visits to local suppliers to engage in quality audits and development activities.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and coordinate discussions during team meetings.
  • Generate reports for leadership review regarding goals and objectives.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications for Success:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and G Suite.
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet and/or Tableau is advantageous.
