Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Execute Comprehensive Research Plans: Align research initiatives with organizational goals and objectives, ensuring a deep understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Define Research Methodologies and Data Collection Strategies: Utilize market data, secondary data, and analytics to provide data-driven reports and insights.
- Ensure Data Integrity: Own all web & mobile analytics data sources & tag management, continuously optimizing & auditing.
- Collect, Clean, and Manipulate Data: Create marketing and growth reports for clients, leveraging data visualization tools to communicate findings effectively.
- Conduct A/B Testing and Personalization Efforts: Instill a culture of disciplined statistical analysis, driving business growth through data-driven decision-making.
- Guide Team on Customer Journey Analysis: Foster a collaborative and innovative research environment, encouraging continuous learning and professional growth.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Identify key research areas and prioritize projects accordingly, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Direct Research Projects: From initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Monitor Project Progress: Identify potential roadblocks and implement strategies to mitigate risks and maintain project momentum.
- Oversee Research Outputs: Ensure research reports, whitepapers, and presentations effectively communicate findings and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
- Present Research Findings: Provide strategic recommendations and insights for business development and growth, staying informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
- 8+ years of professional data science analytics experience at a high growth company or ecommerce business.
- Degree (advanced degree preferable) in a relevant field (e.g., Economics, Social Sciences, Data Science, etc.).
- Proven experience in research management and leadership, preferably in a related industry.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a track record of producing high-quality research outputs.
- Proficiency in research methodologies, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools.
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Slack).
- Significant experience utilizing data warehouse or CDP to consolidate customer profiles & utilize across owned digital channels.
- Well-versed in advanced statistical analysis techniques and leveraging BI tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
