About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Halifax Health. As a key member of our Radiology - Nuclear Medicine Department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and producing accurate medical images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient assessments and monitoring to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and provide follow-up care as needed
  • Oversee patient scheduling and disseminate medical information to relevant parties
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including gamma cameras and dosing computers
  • Supervise students and provide guidance on medical imaging procedures
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Nuclear Medicine or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
  • Licensed by the State of Florida in Nuclear Medicine Technology and current license
  • Completed 16 hours of continuing education in CT and/or CT registered
