Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

NYU Grossman School of Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing medically prescribed nuclear medicine procedures.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Execute equipment set-up, utilization, and proper maintenance procedures.
  • Operate hospital and radiology information systems as they relate to nuclear medicine.
  • Effectively assess patients' information and status, and follow appropriate procedure(s).
  • Independently implement patient procedures by departmental protocols and standards.
  • Independently implement non-imaging procedures by departmental protocols and standards.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree and Completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) recognized nuclear medicine technology program.
  • Eligible to take certification exam in Nuclear Medicine by either the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Nuclear Med Tech Cert (NMTCB).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Completion of an associate degree or baccalaureate degree in nuclear medicine technology.
  • Qualified candidates must effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
