POSITION OVERVIEW

The Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant (RTA) plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality rehabilitative services under the guidance and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The RTA will assist patients facing musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary challenges, ensuring excellent customer service while complying with state and federal regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program with an Associate's degree in science or applied science recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association, Inc.
  • Possession of a current and unencumbered certification or license to provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in the state of employment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective organizational abilities.
  • Valid CPR certification, obtained through an in-person practical skills evaluation.
  • Access to reliable transportation for work purposes.
