Job Title: Lead Geologist/Geologist

Location: Denver, CO

Pay Rate: $28-45/hr (dependent on years of experience)

Required Skills & Experience

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced environmental professional to join our team as a Lead Geologist/Geologist. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience conducting environmental investigations, including groundwater monitoring, drilling, and rock coring oversight, borehole logging, and soil sampling.

The successful candidate will have the ability to train and oversee local field sampling programs and field staff, and will be able to spend up to 80% of their time in the field.

Responsibilities will include preparing environmental investigation workplans, sampling and analysis plans, and groundwater monitoring reports.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with coal combustion residual sites and associated groundwater monitoring programs is a plus.

Additionally, experience conducting geological and hydrogeologic environmental investigations at mine sites, as well as OSHA HAZWOPER and MSHA training, is highly desirable.

Job Description

The successful candidate will lead a team of junior staff and be responsible for a range of scientific, monitoring, and testing services for environmental projects at locations such as landfills, industrial facilities, power stations, abandoned and operating mines, and communities impacted by emerging contaminants.
