Job Summary:

IMCO General Construction, Inc., a leading family-owned heavy civil construction company, is seeking an experienced heavy civil construction superintendent to support our Washington and Idaho State operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage large-scale heavy civil construction projects in the public and private sectors.
  • Oversee earthwork and underground utilities projects in both sectors.
  • Supervise structural concrete, mechanical systems in transportation, dams/hydro, and water/wastewater projects.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a strong background in project management and leadership.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects in the public and private sectors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
