Service Advisor Role

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will be the face of the dealership for service customers, responsible for presenting and selling needed products and services in a professional manner. You will build rapport with customers to promote customer satisfaction and retention, and work closely with technicians to ensure timely and accurate repairs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting customers in a timely and friendly manner, and obtaining pertinent vehicle information
  • Actively promoting and building rapport with customers
  • Advising customers on the care and value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications
  • Generating and providing customers with a complete and accurate estimate of repair
  • Establishing and communicating completion time of repair with customers and technicians
  • Answering incoming service calls
  • Maintaining and scheduling service appointments
  • Following prescribed procedures for customer post-follow-up, resulting in return visits, increased sales, and admirable CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index)
  • Strictly following the manufacturer's warranty guidelines and procedures
  • Conducting business in an honest manner that maintains the manufacturer Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) at or above Asbury's specified goal(s) in service for district, regional, and national scores
  • Complying with all federal, state, and local laws, and company policy, regarding the safeguarding of all customer, company, and manufacturer information, as well as customers' vehicles and property
  • Managing in a fast-paced work environment with limited supervision
  • Having great customer service, phone, and computer skills
  • Having previous automotive Service Advisor experience (heavily preferred)
  • Being a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Having a valid driver's license
  • Passing pre-employment screening (background and drug test)
