In response to a notable rise in customer demand, the Service Department at Safford Brown Mazda Fairfax is expanding and is seeking 2 additional Automotive Service Advisors.

We have a proven history of successfully training individuals with backgrounds in hospitality, including restaurant, bar, hotel, or retail environments for this position. If you possess a positive attitude and a sincere desire to assist customers, we will provide the necessary training.

As a Service Consultant, your role will involve welcoming service customers, confirming requested services, and providing updates on service progress.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Welcome customers in a timely manner
  • Gather customer and vehicle details
  • Accurately report vehicle issues as described by the customer
  • Assess and recommend necessary maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and history
  • Prepare a detailed and precise estimate of labor and parts costs
  • Set follow-up timelines
  • Track the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, providing regular updates to customers
  • Ensure the final invoice aligns with the services performed on the repair order
  • Communicate all completed work and charges to customers
  • Conduct follow-ups to guarantee complete customer satisfaction
