Job Summary

This Patient Access Representative position is a PRN, Varied Shift, role with possible shift rotation supporting Northwest Medical Center. The successful candidate will provide quality customer service to internal and external customers, participate in the collection process of patient liability, and perform patient registration and office support duties of a complex nature.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Collect and process patient liability, ensuring accurate and timely billing
  • Perform patient registration, including data entry and verification
  • Support office operations, including answering phones and responding to emails
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and outcomes
Requirements
  • 6 months of customer service experience
  • Preferred: 1 year of registration experience in a hospital setting
  • Licenses/Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS certification (based on unique need)
