Job Summary

Uline, Inc. is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our construction and design efforts as a Director of Building Operations. This role will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Construction and Design department, ensuring the successful execution of large-scale construction projects across North America.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the Construction and Design department, managing a team of professionals to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Oversee all aspects of construction, design, and maintenance projects, including vendor and contractor management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including Executive Leadership, Legal, Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Facilities.
  • Supervise due diligence, construction entitlements, budgets, architectural design reviews, site engineering, permitting, scheduling, and project coordination from start to completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 20+ years of construction leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing large teams and complex projects.
  • 10+ years of experience in managing and directing large-scale industrial projects, such as 1 million+ square-foot warehouses.
