Soleo Health Inc is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a Full-time, 40 hours per week position. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacy operations and providing clinical support services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Sterile Compounding: Prepare and provide clinical support services necessary for the dispensing of injectable and oral medications under the direction of a pharmacist.
- USP 797 and USP 800 Compliance: Demonstrate understanding of current regulations and standards, and maintain compliance with state board of pharmacy's sterile compounding and pharmacy practice regulations.
- Inventory Management: Collect, document, and disseminate customer communications, laboratory data, and various clinical information with pharmacy, nursing, and reimbursement staff.
- Data Entry: Perform efficient data entry of pertinent patient and prescription information into company's pharmacy software system, as allowed by BOP regulations.
- Clean Room Maintenance: Perform all cleaning and maintenance of the pharmacy clean room in accordance with company policy and state BOP regulations.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in company's quality assurance and performance improvement program.
- Continuing Education: Remain current with the BOP continuing education requirements, and complete Soleo's annual re-credentialing process.
- Supply Management: Perform receiving and storage of medications and supplies from vendors, and participate in regularly scheduled inventory counts.
- Education: High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
- Certification: Registered/Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), or as required by the BOP.
- Experience: Minimum experience working as a technician in the pharmacy IV room of a hospital.
- Skills: Excellent customer service skills, excellent sterile compounding technique, and basic to intermediate efficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
