Job Summary:

Soleo Health is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Manager to oversee the overall management of our Specialty Home Infusion Pharmacy in Norcross, GA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing high-quality pharmacy services and providing medical supplies to customers and patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and laws regulating pharmacy practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Directs pharmacy and operations functions to ensure effective operations
Demonstrates understanding of USP 797 standards, USP 800 standards, and current State Board of Pharmacy (BOP) regulations
Provides and/or oversees compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring services prescribed by physicians or other mid-level practitioners and authorized medical personnel in a safe and efficient manner
Ensures that all pharmacy operations, practices, and procedures meet all licensing and standards requirements established by local, state, and federal agencies
Conducts initial and ongoing assessment of specific patient, drug, and disease information to identify real and potential drug-related problems or needs
Prepares formulations for solutions/medications and ensures the accuracy of the preparation; may oversee work of Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and Interns
Participates in the preparation, distribution, security, and maintenance of controlled substances
Ensures that all documentation necessary to support the billing process is completed and available in a timely manner
Selects, trains, develops, and motivates a competent staff to procure, prepare, and provide quality pharmacy services and medical supplies to patients and customers
Planning and implementation of departmental budget
Participates in and maintains on-call schedule for pharmacists and covers as needed

Requirements:

Specialty pharmacy or home infusion experience preferred
Doctor of Pharmacy (Ph.D.) professional degree
Minimum 7 years of Pharmacist experience, preferably sterile compounding
Efficiency in CPR Plus is desired
Excellent customer service skills
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
