Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Cardiology Registered Nurse to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a Pediatric Cardiology RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children with cardiac conditions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and educating patients and families on disease management and self-care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to children with cardiac conditions, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including cardiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct patient and family education on disease management and self-care, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and follow-up care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
  • 2+ years of experience in pediatric cardiology or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced life support (ALS) certification.
  • Experience with pediatric cardiology procedures, such as echocardiograms and cardiac catheterizations.
  • Knowledge of pediatric cardiology medications and treatments.
