Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Cardiology Registered Nurse to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a Pediatric Cardiology Nurse, you will provide direct patient care in a specialty unit, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a specialty unit, adhering to applicable scope and standards of practice.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referral, and spiritual and psychosocial support needs.
  • Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel and precept student nurses and new hires.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition as needed.
Requirements
  • Accredited Program: Nursing (Required)
  • BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
  • Registered Nurse Compact License (RN LICENSE COMPACT) - Compact RN Multistate
  • Registered Nurse License (RN LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
