Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Cardiology team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a RN in this role, you will provide direct patient care to children with cardiac conditions, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized patient care to children with cardiac conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Participate in educational programs and training sessions to stay current on best practices and advancements in pediatric cardiology.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence in patient care.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the State of Florida.
  • One year of experience in pediatric cardiology or a related field.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Preferred: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
