The U.S. Army is seeking skilled individuals to fill the role of Heavy Equipment Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our construction equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including trucks, bulldozers, and power shovels.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Replace and perform tune-ups on brakes, motors, engines, drive pumps, water pumps, transmissions, and high-pressure hydraulic systems.
- Test and certify equipment to ensure it meets safety and performance standards.
- Age: Between 17-35 years old.
- Medical, Moral, Physical: Medically and physically capable, and in good moral standing.
- Citizenship: A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card (I-551).
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent.
