POSITION OVERVIEW AND DUTIES
Oversees the internal transportation team to guarantee that patients reach their designated locations punctually and securely. Utilizes independent judgment to prioritize transport requests and assigns staff to fulfill the transportation requirements of patients and departmental timelines.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory. A diploma or certification in a healthcare-related discipline with a minimum of one year of experience is preferred. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is essential, along with the ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions, maintain records, and perform basic arithmetic. Knowledge of Spanish is advantageous.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURE
Proof of course completion in alignment with all American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support and Health Care Provider standards is required.
