Job Overview

Position Summary

The primary goal of this role is to provide essential support to the financial controller in day-to-day operations, while overseeing and inspiring team members to produce accurate and thorough financial statements for management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain the fixed assets ledger to guarantee accurate documentation of acquisitions and disposals.
  • Document and reconcile inventory activities, manage cycle counts, and assess Bill of Materials (BOMs).
  • Prepare reconciliations for balance sheets.
  • Assist in managing month-end closing processes as required, leveraging modern technologies for accurate record-keeping.
  • Review and authorize payroll and related transactions.
  • Administer accounts receivable functions.
  • Generate accruals and perform various general ledger tasks.
  • Facilitate periodic financial assessments, analyses, and ad hoc reporting.
  • Support audits and compliance reporting, addressing inquiries as needed.
  • Contribute to process documentation and cross-training initiatives, supervising and reviewing team outputs.
  • Collaborate with various departments including Human Resources, Program Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Duties

This role does not entail direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This position is situated within a professional office setting. The role typically utilizes standard office equipment such as laptops and copiers.

While executing the responsibilities of this position, the employee is frequently required to communicate verbally and audibly. Position Type and Expected Hours

This is a full-time, hybrid role, requiring 40 hours per week. Standard office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though these hours may vary based on workload and managerial discretion. This position may necessitate additional hours as required.
