About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Accountant to join our team at Creative Financial Staffing. As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in cleaning up financial records, shoring up accounting processes, and partnering closely with our Controller.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Reconciliations (70%): Dive deep into account reconciliations, working alongside the Controller to establish and refine processes.
  • Month-End Close & Account Recs (30%): Take ownership of the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
  • Weekly Reporting: Prepare and analyze weekly financial reports, providing insights to support business decisions.
  • Budget: Play a key role in the budgeting process, contributing to regular forecasting updates and ensuring alignment with financial goals.
  • Payroll Backup: Serve as a reliable backup for payroll processing, ensuring smooth operations in the Controller's absence.
  • AP/AR Backup: Gradually take on backup responsibilities for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, deepening your understanding of the full accounting cycle.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 35 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong expertise in complex reconciliations and financial cleanup.
