Key Responsibilities:


Conduct thorough analytical work, research, fundamental credit assessments, financial statement analysis, development of financial models and forecasts, and composition of analytical reports on rated corporate entities.

Maintain direct analytical oversight for a portfolio of rated corporate issuers under the mentorship of a Senior Analyst.
Continuous monitoring and rating recommendations.
Regular analytical engagement with senior management of rated entities, presenting analytical findings to both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications We Seek:

Essential Qualifications:
MBA, MPA, JD, CFA, or other advanced degree in a relevant field.

3+ years of experience in a large commercial bank, investment bank, investment institution/asset manager, law firm, or audit firm, specializing in credit analysis of multinational corporations or equivalent military experience.

Strong analytical capabilities with a comprehensive understanding of financial statement analysis and accounting principles.
Proficiency with numerical data and a keen attention to detail while adhering to deadlines.
Strong skills in Excel/Word/PowerPoint and database applications.
Ability to generate forecasts based on well-reasoned assumptions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a willingness to learn and contribute.

Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrable experience in credit analysis.
In-depth understanding of financial statement analysis.

Compensation and Benefits:
S&P Global indicates that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $94,976 to $150,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan and additional S&P Global benefits.
