Business Development - Community Relations Role

The Business Development - Community Relations professional at Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care is a dedicated individual who embodies a passion for making a difference in the lives of patients and their families. Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the profitable marketing of hospice services to Third Party Payers, Managed Care Companies, Physicians, Hospitals, Nursing Homes, and Medical Institutions.
  • Meet or exceed the profitable growth of referrals and increase length of stay.
  • Coordinate and market all hospice contracts, monitoring progress and collecting relevant data.
  • Work with the Executive Director to identify and qualify potential new services to meet customer needs.
  • Develop and implement annual marketing plans.
  • Keep a record of all existing customers, tracking trends, markets, and demographics.
  • Analyze referral data, trends, and adjust marketing efforts accordingly.
  • Follow up on all marketing efforts and inform the Executive Director of the status of activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent experience in sales and marketing in the service industry.
  • One to three years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in-home care or hospice.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Reliable vehicle/transportation, valid driver's license, required automobile insurance, and the ability to safely and independently operate said vehicle.
