Business Development - Community Relations

The Business Development - Community Relations professional at Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care is a dedicated and compassionate individual who embodies a passion for making a difference in the lives of others. Our organization is committed to providing exceptional care and support to our patients and their families, and we are seeking a talented Business Development - Community Relations professional to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote hospice services to third-party payers, managed care companies, physicians, hospitals, nursing homes, and medical institutions.
  • Meet or exceed profitable growth of referrals and increase length of stay through strategic partnerships and community outreach.
  • Coordinate and market all hospice contracts, monitoring progress and collecting relevant data to inform future marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to identify and qualify potential new services that meet customer needs.
  • Develop and implement annual marketing plans to promote hospice services and increase brand awareness.
  • Analyze referral data, trends, and demographics to inform marketing strategies and adjust efforts accordingly.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality of patients' records and all other confidential information received during the course of patient care.
  • Comply with policies and professional standards, acting independently and responsibly to perform duties on a consistent basis.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent experience in sales and marketing in the service industry.
  • One to three years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in-home care or hospice.
  • Ability to travel and possess a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and required automobile insurance.
