Job Title: Counselor - Level 6

New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a qualified Counselor - Level 6 to join our team. As a Counselor - Level 6, you will be responsible for providing high-quality counseling services to individuals struggling with opioid use disorder.

Job Summary:

We are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for our patients to receive the care they need. Our Counselor - Level 6 will work closely with patients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, provide counseling and support, and monitor patient progress.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork
  • Document patient progress through counseling and interaction
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide counseling and support to patients
  • Monitor patient progress and identify any clinical/case management needs
  • Perform individual, group, and family counseling as required
  • Report patient abuse, neglect, and exploitation as required
  • Report patient grievances as required
  • Educate patients in all aspects of treatment, corresponding health issues, and steps to recovery
  • Obtain Urine Drug Screens and initial patient photo identification
  • Assist in monitoring all patient activities on center premises
  • Actively participate in community relations activities as directed and authorized
  • Ensure compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 (Federal Confidentiality Regulations) and 45 CFR, Parts 160 & 164 (HIPAA)
  • Obtain or maintain proper licensure and/or certification according to specific state requirements
  • Participate in all staff meetings
  • Ensure compliance with local, State, Federal, and Colonial Management Group, LP rules, regulations, and policies
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Full license in appropriate state (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LMHC)
  • Minimum of 500 hours of experience in substance abuse (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be dependable and reliable
  • Basic mathematics skills
