Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator to join our team at the University of New Mexico. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and overseeing the day-to-day clinical activities for clinical trials and/or other medical research programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and administer operating procedures for research projects
  • Coordinate project funding and interactions with associated departments and agencies
  • Oversee patient recruitment, education, and administration
  • Implement and execute study protocol, and oversee all aspects of patient care
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing
  • At least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • Certification/Licensure: State of New Mexico Licensed Registered Nurse or licensure pending
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience overseeing the planning, scheduling, and day-to-day clinical activities
  • Experience administering prescribed study medications, performing phlebotomy, and monitoring vital signs
  • Experience monitoring and recording patient response to treatment, and communicating study data and results to investigators
