Job Overview

Salent Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Project Manager to lead our Engineering Services Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring alignment with company goals and GMP regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and document specifications for new equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement reliability engineering practices to enhance equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Provide technical support for new projects, including expansion initiatives, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the integration of new technologies and processes.
  • Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of critical equipment, including fermenters, bioreactors, centrifuges, and ultra-filtration skids.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP regulations in all engineering activities, including CIP and SIP processes.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of clean utilities, including clean steam generators, WFI distillation systems, and GMP autoclaves.
  • Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related field).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical engineering, specifically within GMP environments.
  • Proven experience with fermentation systems, bioreactors, chromatography skids, incubators, ultra-low temperature freezers, fillers, and clean utilities.
  • Strong understanding of CIP and SIP processes.
  • Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Project Management Professional) are a plus.
