About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food Service Expert to join our team at Target. As a Food Service Expert, you will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh, full, and food-safe experience during all hours of operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional guest service by providing a welcoming and inviting dining area, ensuring food quality and freshness, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Execute Food and Beverage processes, including food deliveries, replenishment, pulls, stocking, zoning, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, defect, signing, and backstock.
  • Uphold and maintain the execution of Food and Beverage Standards, Food Service Routines, and all food safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the Food and Beverage team to achieve sales, instocks, and profitability goals.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on promotions, sales, and new products.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Strong interest and knowledge of the food service business.
  • Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required.
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with the team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to lift up to 44 pounds and stand for long periods.
