Job Summary

The Quality/Process Intern at Cornerstone Building Brands offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on real quality initiatives and contribute to meaningful projects that drive Quality Assurance across the organization. Reporting directly to the Quality/Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities through data analysis and stakeholder consultation.
  • Support the documentation of current processes, working on SOP revisions.
  • Revise control plans.
  • Develop training materials, Quality Visual Aids, and Work Instructions.
  • Assist in Quality initiatives.
  • Contribute to meaningful projects that drive quality assurance and Process Improvements.
Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor's degree program in an engineering discipline is required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio is required.
  • Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis Methodologies, Fishbone Diagram, 4M's, 5 Whys, and 8D's is preferred.
