Job Summary:The selected individual will play a key role in supporting our Market Access Practice, providing subject matter expertise and contributing to the development of deliverables for clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of managed markets, reimbursement, and health economics, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities:- Interface with clients to provide on-going subject matter expertise in support of deliverable development
- Support in designing, implementing, and delivering various project types and therapeutic areas, including commercialization and market access strategy development, value proposition creation, message testing/payer market research, reimbursement and landscape assessments, and more
- Participate in business and strategy development, serving as a clinical content resource for the development of promotional materials, and collaborating with fellow team members to efficiently complete engagements within allotted timeframes
- Monitor trends and potential coverage and reimbursement issues, existing and emerging government and payer policies, competitive pricing and contracting strategies, and potential barriers to provider and patient access
- Support goals for service line growth and provide thought leadership and innovation within the Market Access practice
- Advanced degree required, PharmD (preferred) or PhD. OR, MBA, MPH, or Master's in Health Economics or equivalent degree
- 4-8 years of relevant experience within pharmaceutical industry or consulting market access
- Structured and well organized, with a proven ability to simultaneously handle multiple workstreams with varying degrees of complexity and time constraints
- Demonstrates knowledge of managed markets, reimbursement, and/or health economics
- Ability to confidently communicate complex material in presentations and discussions in a clear and compelling manner, tailored to various audiences
