Fleet Equipment Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at US Foods, Inc.
Job SummaryThis is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and utilize your technical skills to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain fleet road equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel mechanics and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with tractor, trailer, and other heavy equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including preventative maintenance within company standards
- Complete documentation of all repair orders, PM lists, and parts accountability
- Handle road service calls and perform road rescue/transport equipment as needed
- At least 3 years of commercial diesel mechanic experience or 2 years of diesel mechanic experience with TK or refrigeration certification
- Familiarity with EPA and OSHA regulations
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- A competitive salary range of $32 per hour plus a $10,000 retention bonus
