This position plays a crucial role in enhancing discovery, design, workflows, and usability testing for both internal and external applications. The ideal candidate should possess a robust background in UX design and user research, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle. Experience in developing enterprise-level applications is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and fellow designers to align user needs with business objectives, ensuring the delivery of user-focused experiences.
- Identify and implement strategies to streamline complex processes, thereby reducing cognitive load and minimizing user errors.
- Leverage existing Design Systems and UI styles to ensure design uniformity across various applications.
- Create interactive prototypes to validate design assumptions and hypotheses.
- Coordinate with multiple application teams to ensure timely delivery of project-related outputs.
- Conduct design quality assurance throughout the development phase.
- Guarantee that designs and code are accessible to all users.
Essential Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in designing enterprise-level applications.
- Proficient in user research techniques, including user interviews, usability testing, and user journey mapping.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to convert complex research findings into actionable insights.
- Expertise in interaction design, with a solid grasp of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Excellent storytelling, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and influence stakeholders.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools.
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree or certification in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in UX design.
- A strong portfolio showcasing enterprise applications, detailing your role, methodology, challenges faced, steps taken, learnings, and outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the PEGA suite of applications.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Required Skills:
- Experience in website application UI/UX graphic design.
- User research expertise.
- Proficiency in Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, HTML5, Dreamweaver, and CSS3.
- Comprehensive technical and IT experience.
- Experience in designing and documenting User Interface and User Experience.
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
- Four-year college degree or equivalent technical education.
