Electrical Engineer-In-Training Position

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer-In-Training to join our team. As an EIT, you will assist in detailed building design, support quality assurance, and participate in learning and development. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to design lighting, power systems, HVAC power, single-line diagrams, lighting controls, fire alarms, communications, security, and related engineering calculations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in detailed building design
  • Support quality assurance
  • Participate in learning and development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET-accredited university
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
  • 1 to 4 years of building design experience, specializing in HVAC or plumbing
  • Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam
  • Basic understanding of industry codes, including the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC), International Building Code (IBC), International Plumbing Code (IPC), International Mechanical Code (IMC), and ASHRAE Standards

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Fire alarm design experience
  • Modular construction experience
  • Project support experience
