Job Title: Research Faculty

We are seeking a highly qualified Research Faculty member to join our team in the Department of Surgery, Division of Cardiac Surgery. The successful candidate will have a strong background in basic science research and a passion for advancing our understanding of ischemia reperfusion injury.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and conduct research projects in the field of ischemia reperfusion injury
  • Collaborate with other investigators in the University to advance our understanding of this complex topic
  • Develop and write grant proposals to secure funding for research projects
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and graduate students
Requirements:
  • PhD in an applicable field
  • Academic experience a plus
  • Qualify for academic appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level
