Neurology Research Faculty Position

Position Overview:
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking full-time, tenure-track faculty members in the Department of Neurology, specifically within the Division of Health Services Research. We are looking for candidates to fill positions at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor.
Research Focus:
We encourage applications from individuals interested in various aspects of health services research, including but not limited to clinical epidemiology, clinical informatics, health disparities, health outcomes, and implementation research. Our division fosters a collaborative environment that supports interdisciplinary research efforts.
Collaboration and Growth:
Faculty members will have the opportunity to engage in collaborative research projects and contribute to publications while pursuing their own investigator-initiated research. We welcome candidates from all neurologic subspecialties as well as general neurology who are eager to enhance their expertise and impact on the healthcare system.
Research Environment:
The new faculty member will be integrated into a dynamic research setting focused on identifying and understanding healthcare challenges, developing potential interventions, and evaluating strategies to enhance healthcare delivery and patient outcomes, particularly for those with neurologic conditions.
Support and Resources:
Faculty will benefit from the robust infrastructure provided by the Center for the Advancement of Team Science, Analytics, and Systems Thinking in Health Services and Implementation Science Research (CATALYST). Both the Neurology Health Services Research Division and CATALYST are dedicated to expanding their research footprint, and the new faculty member will play a crucial role in this endeavor.
Compensation:
Salary will be aligned with the rank and experience of the candidate. We offer a competitive academic salary, along with bonus opportunities and an excellent benefits package, which includes a substantial retirement program and tuition reimbursement for eligible dependents. Additionally, we are recognized as a Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program Qualified Employer.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Successful completion of an accredited Neurology Residency Program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Strong interest in health services research
- Eligibility for an Ohio Medical License
