Territory Account Manager

We are looking for a results-driven and assertive Territory Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth and success in your assigned territory. You will engage with veterinary clinics through an Omni-channel approach, develop and grow the account base, and execute strategies to maximize territory sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Assume ownership of a portfolio of approximately 250-300 accounts, managing and nurturing these relationships to drive quote, policy and revenue growth
- Leverage a suite of communication tools, including video conferencing, screen sharing, and a strong phone presence, to facilitate engaging interactions with territory accounts
- Develop and implement creative account nurture programs, deepening relationships and uncovering new opportunities to meet/exceed quarterly sales goals
- Create strategic Territory Business Plans that identify high-potential growth opportunities, set measurable goals and targets, and outline specific actions and resource allocations
- Proactively manage the sales cycle, setting clear next steps, milestones, and deadlines to maintain momentum and drive accounts to successful closure
- Map the key stakeholder landscape within each assigned account, identifying decision-makers, influencers, and champions to cultivate multi-level partnerships
- 2+ years of inside sales experience, ideally in a B2B or B2B2C environment
- Previous experience engaging with prospects at all levels of the sales funnel through virtual sales calls
- Possess a strong phone presence, utilizing active listening skills and a consultative approach to have meaningful conversations
- Adaptable and comfortable navigating change, with the ability to thrive in less established or formalized environments
- Demonstrated proficiency in closing skills, with a strong focus on securing the next meeting, action, or commitment from clients
- Experience with digital and social selling tactics to continuously engage clients and build brand awareness in the market
- Resilience and persistence in the face of challenges, with a positive, optimistic attitude
- Ability to pass/obtain a Property & Casualty License within 30 days
- Willing to travel for occasional trade shows, conferences or territory visits
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience working in a startup environment
- Experience/Familiarity with animal health/hospital sales
- Experience with Salesforce CRM
- Active P&C license
