Hospice Care Assistant Opportunity

Job Description

This PRN night shift position in our inpatient unit offers a unique chance to make a difference in patients' lives. As a Hospice Care Assistant, you will provide personalized care, support families, and collaborate with the care team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

About the Job

This role requires a compassionate and skilled individual who can prioritize patient comfort and dignity. With expertise in personal care, you will work closely with families and the care team to ensure seamless support.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized care to patients with complex needs
  • Support families during difficult times
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement patient-centered plans
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certified STNA certification
  • One year of experience in hospice care or a related field
  • Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPNA) within two years of employment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
