We're looking for a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Specialist to join our team at Ohio's Hospice, Inc. in New Philadelphia. As a member of our inpatient unit, you'll provide exceptional care and support to patients and their families during the most challenging time of their lives.

This is a PRN position working night shifts, offering a fulfilling career opportunity for those passionate about hospice care. With an estimated annual salary of $36,000, you'll be rewarded for your expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

About the Role
  • You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop personalized care plans that cater to each patient's unique needs and preferences.
  • You will be responsible for providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families, ensuring they feel valued and respected throughout their journey.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED;
  • Certified STNA with the State of Ohio without any board actions;
  • One year of experience in hospice care preferred;
  • Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPNA) within two years of employment;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
