We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Specialist to join our team at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital. As a key member of our cardiac rehabilitation program, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs
- Assess patient risk factors and provide support and strategies for successful therapeutic lifestyle changes
- Design and teach exercise curriculum, including resistance training aspects
- Assist with initial assessment, orientation, and discharge assessments of participants
- Collaborate with nursing staff to supervise exercise sessions and monitor patient responses
- Document patient data and outcomes in Epic
- Masters of Science in Exercise Science or Exercise Physiology required
- Certification in Basic Life Support required
- MACVPR, AACVPR membership preferred
- ASCM Clinical Exercise Specialist Certification preferred
- Minimum of 1-year Cardiac Rehabilitation experience required
