Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Specialist to join our team at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital. As a key member of our cardiac rehabilitation program, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs
  • Assess patient risk factors and provide support and strategies for successful therapeutic lifestyle changes
  • Design and teach exercise curriculum, including resistance training aspects
  • Assist with initial assessment, orientation, and discharge assessments of participants
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to supervise exercise sessions and monitor patient responses
  • Document patient data and outcomes in Epic
Requirements
  • Masters of Science in Exercise Science or Exercise Physiology required
  • Certification in Basic Life Support required
  • MACVPR, AACVPR membership preferred
  • ASCM Clinical Exercise Specialist Certification preferred
  • Minimum of 1-year Cardiac Rehabilitation experience required
