Job Purpose

The EHS Specialist will be responsible for implementing and refining environmental health and safety initiatives, best practices, and policies to ensure safe working conditions and sound environmental practices for all North America Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHS programs to prevent injuries and illnesses, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with operations management to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Prepare monthly reports and data as required on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
  • Interface with supervision, managers, and hourly employees regarding all EHS matters.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in EHS, preferably in manufacturing or mining sectors, and possess excellent leadership, program, and project management skills. The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
